What is community supported herbal medicine? It’s a lot like a CSA (community supported agriculture), but instead of receiving a weekly share of vegetables & fruits, members receive a monthly share of herbal preparations to expand and build on your home medicine cabinet! Your membership also grants you access to an herb walk or talk on the herbs featured in the monthly share, as well as tips for preparation and use. The herbal formulations are made and (mostly) grown at our own organic farm, Apotheosis. As the seasons change, so do the health needs of your family. The products you receive are designed to support you & your family’s wellness throughout the year.
By joining community supported herbal medicine (CSHM), you will:
pick up and take home salves, syrups, shrubs, tinctures, herbs, teas, infusions and more (usually two items/month)
learn the plant knowledge, skill, and application to empower your use of plants to care for wellness needs
practice the people’s medicine in your own life
be part of a like-minded community, sharing & growing together through the use of Nature’s bounty for health & well-being
grow in confidence in your ability to tend to the every day health and wellness needs for you and your family
employ sustainable wellness practices to minimize trips to your doctor and lower your healthcare costs
